Hello, this is the deck I took to 6-1 I’m Swiss and top 8 at the Prime hosted at CAPA Cup.

This is an evolution of the deck I took to the Tamaqua,PA prime first weekend of primes. That version ran 6 bounties and relied heavily on hunt them down to get that first kill to start the snowball. My losses there were mainly due to, I thought, clogged hands and bad draws due to the amount of bounties I had. So I dropped the bounties, switched up the upgrade/ support package slightly and tightened up the event suite.

R1- Mike E.- Reylo - Loss

First round of the day is Reylo, a matchup I know I should win. never saw Fist or MBT and delved a Siege Cannon round 2. That and a Conscript Squad were my only dice cards much of the game. He played well and saw all his damage out of hand cards. ultimately I missed on 3 rerolls of 4-LOM dice end of a round after Mike claimed to win, needing only 1 dmg. Hit disrupt each time. Mike played the deck really well and made the right plays to put himself in a position to win. Which he did. So now I’m 0-1 thinking I’m in for a rough day in a tough field.

R2- Slava- eGG 3x Commando Droids- Win

Round 2 against a really nice guy. Newer player to the game and I hope to see him at more events in the area in the future. He was severely limited by his available card pool and I was able to get at least one droid a round. An assassin droid was his only dice card. So now 1-1 hoping I can get to 5 wins and have a shot at cut.

R3- Krysis- Aphra

Round 3 and I got paired up vs my teammate Krysis who is 2-0. I feel the Aphra Match is 50/50 or 60/40 in Aphra’s favor. Since I was playing a teammate I knew his deck and how he plays. Krysis plays really tight and makes the right plays. He was in the finals of the prime held at Boonton, with largely the same list. This came down to me DMing his 0-0-0 as soon as he played it, and me getting some fortunate rolls. Up 2-1.

R4- Ben E. - Maul Watto- Win

The son of my round 1 opponent and I meet at 2-1 each. I felt good into maul but know the variance can lead maul to victory. Ben only hit on the Maul PA once I believe, I controlled the upgrade die and mitigated 3 sides he rolled on Maul. I was able to get a good board state and he couldn’t remove all my dice. Very unfortunate he missed on the Maul PAs or this game might have been much different. Up 3-1, feeling good about the deck and my play.

R5-Mike C.-Reylo - Win

My second Reylo of the game and this went how I expected it to. I controlled shield dice and poured into Kylo, he played well but I saw my pieces and was too far ahead. now up 4-1.

R6-Hinkbert-Aphra-Win

Round 6 and hit another teammate on Aphra. This game was on the ABG stream. I think we both played really tight, he only saw coruscant police round 1. I was able to drop MBT. I never saw DM so his droids stuck, he DMd a fist round 2 and I hard casted a fist round 3. it was really close but came down to me hitting a GG 2 focus side and Hinkbert missing on his reroll. Hinkbert went on to Win the event. Up 5-1.

R7- Rob - Reylo- Win

Last round of Swiss paired up against the 6-0, he beat all the other X-1s and my 3rd Reylo of the day. This game was close and Ryan played really really well. He was able to generate tons of shields and mitigate a lot of the dmg I was putting out, he missed on Rey rerolls to get the win and I hit ok mine at the end. Up 6-1.

Top8 - Sam- Aphra- Loss

Top 8 against my 3rd teammate of the day on Aphra. game 1 was really close but he was able to mitigate my fist dice when it mattered and he got the win. game 2 I didn’t see anything good and he saw all his pieces plus MBT and I couldn’t mitigate all the dice from droids and MBT and he spanked me in this one. Sam played really well and deserved the top 4 finish for sure.

Never thought I would finish 6-1 or win 6 games in a row after my round 1 loss. Was very happy with how I played and how the deck felt. Was even more happy with the Team. altogether we had 3 in top 8. Sam, Hinkel, and myself. 2 in top 4 and the eventual Winner Hinkel who defeated Paul of ABG in finals.

Was a tough field, as the area within driving distances is full of great players. Was happy to see everyone, and enjoyed all of my games. Shoutout to Batmanderson and Mr Chip for driving down and hanging out with the team at CAPA. shoutout to the team for testing and helping me get ready. And shoutouts to Drew of ABG for a few suggestions on card choices that worked out well for me.

I know I’m not the father of Delve Fist, but, If I play this deck again I think I run the same 30. I felt really good about all the changes and choices I made going into this Prime.

Since you spoiled 4LOM would it be fair to call you the father of 4LOM decks?

Is Shakedown reliable for you in this deck? I'm just trying a 4-LOM deck for the first time, and debating if this is worth it, or if needing to have a specific die state to use your removal makes it too unpredictable. I know there's lots of disrupts on these dice, but I'll also want to reroll most of them to look for damage.

@Fromper I’m really happy with the event suite. Any changes I would make is to the support package. Shakedown is on line a lot, even after rerolling. Never felt that having it in my hand put me in a bad position. But testing with it helps that a lot. I was able to top deck shakedown a few times during the day off sentinel messenger activations. That is the dream.

@Mr_Chip yes I’d say that’s accurate
