I just started playing SW Destiny last week and absolutely got hooked into game. At first, i was thinking of building a eJango/eVeer deck but im not really an aggro player. I know, i know, eRey/eHan deck is also an aggro deck as well.

Why i chosen this deck is because of the "Ambush" mechanics, is so good, and with Rey on the board, it's even better.

With that being said, i have decided to go ahead and build my eRey/eHan deck. I really like this deck. Im still thinking, should I replace Play the Odds with Awakening and maybe Cunning for Force Throws. The deck currently works really well.

Any thoughts?

This looks rather a midrange than normal aggro, as you use more control cards/upgrades.The decks looks decent, so I'll just share my thoughts, no offense meant in anyway ofc.

The aggro version of this deck aims toward equipping Han and Rey with weapons as fast as possible, exploiting the fact that you get 2 additional actions when placing equipment onto Rey with the Ambush keyword.(and that's her main role actually, because lets just be honest: Her dice are not the best, to say the least, and because of that Awakening is usually included)

2 Deflect and 2 Shoot First seems to be a bit too much. Sure its a good setup versus those nasty Jango/Veers decks, but becomes useless where no ranged (or ngligable) damage is dealt by the enemy( Vader/Raider, Luke/Ackbar, Qui-Gon/Rey, just to name the popular ones)

I'd trade Play the Odds to Awakening (and would actually use 2 of them) . Hyperspace Jump is too situational, especially if you use Second Chance. 2 Deflect -> 2 Heroism , as ist more felxible and costs 0 (and you can usually simply "shield block" that with Han)

Since the deck's main damage source is ranged, Lightsaber is a kind of fifth wheel to me to include, rather use Rey's Staff as it can mitigate enemy damage dice.

For resource management, Han has 2 resource sides, Rey has 1 and a +1, not to mention that the blasters also have one. Smuggling is often overlooked, as it enables you to play DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol in the first round without having to roll your characters to fish that 1 extra resource in. The other card that can work surprisingly good in this deck is Scavenge. The 3 discard from deck may sound scary at first but you also get an upgrade or support back in your hand for free, useful alternative if you cannot play on your battlefield or if you want to claim it later. The battlefield enables the combo of continually replacing a Holdout Blaster with itself on Rey as the first action to get 2 more actions. This enables some nasty sniping(as you can activate a character and still have 1 more action), as the enemy cannot intervene into those 2 actions, and if you happen to have nasty roll on Han, not even Jango Fett could intervene.
