This character comp idea was given to me by a friend and then I worked to make it faster and less controlling by removing a lot of supports and adding in more events. The idea here is keep Captain Phasma alive long enough to win the game.

Start by absorbing as much damage as you can stand to on the First Order Stormtrooper while using Nightsister to absorb the lesser damage.

When it come to mulligans you want to drop 2 one drops on the first turn. Promotion, DH-17 Blaster Pistol are the optimal drops as long as one of them is the blaster, but you also have Datapad and Hidden In Shadow to make sure you make use of all of your resources. Mulligan out of Commanding Presence as you can use it to win, but it becomes a dead draw until you have three upgrades on Captain Phasma. You want to use the resources you have in a turn to keep upgrading the quality of dice.

The goal here is to deal massive amounts of damage leveraging rerolls. Emperor's Throne Room is there to even out damage off of IQA and Commanding Presence, yet is a bit of a risky choice these days and may want to change to a more control or econ focused battlefield.

So far this deck has either had wins or close games and will get some additional tweaking as time goes on. Hidden In Shadow is one that I'm considering dropping for Probe to help against Hyper Loop. As always Block and Dodge are interchangeable depending on your meta.

This deck went 4-0 at Doc's in Plano on 1/22.
