Late post, but took a 16 player tourney with this list in Pittsburgh, PA. Previously Top 4d with it as well.

Poe - The Hero We Deserve

I believe - and aim to prove when I play him - that Poe is a great card. His spec ability is insane, and will get better with new expansions. Rey is a great partner to let Poe do his thing. Straightforward list. Here's how my day went:

Round 1 - eJabba the Hutt/ eJango Fett

My opponent - who is a smart player generally in all Star Wars games in our area - truthfully rolled cold in our matchup and I punished him for it. Before he could do anything meaningful with Jabba I was able to do him in and control any discard he rolled. He did manage to get Rey, but Poe was hot with a One With The Force to assist him on the table, and I closed out on Jango fairly handily. Win.

Round 2 - eRey / eQui-Gon Jinn

This was a tough matchup as my my opponent was very experienced with this very underrated deck. He also has a tight list. We both jockeyed OWTFs on the table, as well as Force Throw, and it was a slogfest on each other's Reys. I managed to take his Rey down first, and kept mine alive with some timely Dug ins and Field Medics. I managed to take Qui Gon down afterwards with some good burst damage. Win.

Round 3 - eBala-Tik / Jango Fett / First Order Stormtrooper

Ah, the dreaded deck. One that mine is built to beat, so I lick my chops when I get this matchup. My deck did what it's designed to do - ensure that Bala with his fragile 8HP isn't breathing past the start of Round 2. I put a few meager damage on Bala in Round 1, and then Hit and Run at the top of round 2 with initiative to roll double 3-for-1s with Poe, which I paid eagerly for. No more Bala. After that, Jango was so far behind that I chose to dispatch the Trooper and closed up shop on Jango pretty neatly after that. Win.

Round 4 - eJango Fett / 2x First Order Stormtrooper

Another toughie for all the marbles. My opponent was another tough player in the meta (who also pilots Poe/Rey, so he knew my tricks) came out swinging, and Rey took an initial pounding from my opponent's Jango. I was able to outrace his Jango with a meager Mind Probe for 3, and some straight up damage. After taking down a Trooper, his Endless Ranks necro'd another one back from the dead, but truthfully once Jango was out of the way, I could heal, deal damage, and close out the day undefeated.

Thoughts:

Murderpad :Datapad does a lot of work in this deck in sometimes indirect ways.

IDontNeedInitiative : Hit and Run is kinda my favorite thing to do in the game right now. Gives hero that Jango feeling.

OWTF4L: Another great part of playing this deck is getting to play with Ghost Kenobi. What a great card. You really should structure upgrading into it - i.e. Holdout Blaster is just a OWTF delivery device.

Rey??? I never thought much of Rey before this list, because HanRey is so inconsistent. But she absolutely is one of the best cards in the game, despite some crappy dice.

Outro

This is my favorite deck right now, and an absolute blast to play. Also feel pretty fortunate to have great players to play against!

Great list, this is absolutely my favourite deck to play, mine is a touch different but very similar. Just a suggestion, not sure it would fit with your play style but I use two copies of "Its a Trap" in my poe deck. When i play range decks the play is obvious but where it really shines is when your opponent has a special on the table. Turn both Poe dice to specials and KILL! haha Give it a try and let me know what you think :) Check it out if you like: swdestinydb.com

@Couz89 I agree about It's a Trap! - I have been kicking around stuffing in a copy or two. Also I have been mulling over a copy of All In for the times when I split a Poe special and some ranged damage, and want to do both after a Hit and Run or 2 action Holdout Blaster drop.

I'm spinning up another version for playtesting before the next wave of GNKs in my area. Your thoughts were appreciated, thanks a lot.

In a huge fan of its a trap in this deck. I do run 4 red blasters too but whatever's. One thing about it's a trap is that it's the acenib the hole in the mirror. So far blasters with traps have allowed me cicuteey in every mirror.

You can use the ranges to trap off of or use a special side and ur Poe can wreck...

@Jpmawet I kinda miss the IQA-11 Blaster Rifle. It's hard hitting and absolutely fuels into It's a Trap!.
