Just looking for a fun Chewbacca deck to play with. I've played this deck, with some minor tweaks, and think this is one of the better versions. Instead of the DH-17 Blaster Pistol and Holdout Blaster I tried the 2 A180 Blaster and 2 Ascension Gun but I'm not sure what is better.
Characters: Chewbacca offers a variety of damage and his special can be fun to use if played right. Rebel Commando is a nice compliment that rolls consistent damage along with a strong control special if you have the resources.
Battlefield: Moisture Farm is an easy way to get an extra resource, something that this deck lacks. I've also used Secret Facility - Scarif to deal quick damage if pushing for aggro.
Upgrades:
Training: It's important to get this upgrade out turn 1 to make Commando elite. Commando gets usually gets targeted right away so don't bother with this upgrade if it has lots of damage or you're late in the game.
Fast Hands: If this card gets out by turn 2 the deck can be played more aggro. With no modifiers and multiple damage sides, Chewy and Commando can churn out quick damage. Roll, resolve character die, roll, resolve character die, resolve remaining die, claim, deal bonus damage with Planetary Uprising.
Lone Operative: I put this in hear as a way to heal continuous damage overtime. Because I'm not sure who will be targeted first Second Chance could be useless if Chewy goes down right away.
Others: If you're unable to get Training or Fast Hands out by round 2 then use the other upgrades accordingly. You can deal out a ton of ranged damage with just Overkill and Holdout Blaster.
Support:
Planetary Uprising: Only use if you're able to claim quickly. This is an easy way to deal an extra two damage.
Double-Dealing: If you're playing slow this might be a helpful support since resources can get low quickly. Both Commando and Chewy have specials along with Lone Operative, Ascension Gun, and Bowcaster. Still not sure if this support belongs.
