This deck was built using mostly SoR stuff because I have only a few Awakenings cards beyonds the starters. Overall, it seems to do fairly well in the few games I've played with it (wins vs eChewie/eRey, eHan/eRey, eAurra/DeathTrooper; and one very close loss to Guavian/TiePilot/Trooper/Trooper).

I chose Secluded Beach - Scarif as the battlefield because it can't really be used against this deck except for the sides of Force Throw and Handcrafted Light Bow.

So far, Obi seems to be the first one focused due to being elite, so I usually load him up with things like Force Heal, Force Illusion, and Ammo Belt to try to keep him alive while I put as many damage upgrades on Rey as I can.

Try to get Vibroknife out early as it really helps with Obi's 3 side. I included far more upgrades than needed, simply to ensure there are some good dice left in the deck after discarding for the Force Illusion and Ammo Belt combo. Be careful of discarding too many -- it's easy to burn through 6, or even 9 cards with both Force Illusion's plus an Ammo Belt. The bottom of your deck can sneak up on you.

Dice removal is possible through the Force Throw special and Guard. Playing Guard and removing Obi's 3 is a great way to remove your opponent's damage dice and keep Obi alive far longer than your opponent might expect. Decisive Blow can be amazing against some setups, but unfortunately can be totally useless against others.

Ideally I'd like to add another Handcrafted Light Bow and another It Binds All Things, but for now this is what I have. I'd probably remove Decisive Blow to make room, simply because at 3 cost it's kind of tricky to get out, and, as mentioned, it's totally useless against some setups.

You're going to want to go with the Starship Graveyard as your battlefield. That way you can just recycle the force illusion / ammo belt to keep Obi in the game.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll probably try it out, but as a general rule, I'm terrible at ever actually claiming the battlefield regardless of which deck I'm playing. With Secluded Beach, the only benefit my opponent gains by claiming is going first next round - basically, the claim effect isn't going to benefit them because this deck is mostly . If you're someone that's usually quick to claim, I can definitely see how Starship Graveyard would be the better choice.

I have a similar deck. I also use Secluded Beach.

I use 2x Jedi Robes early to get some focus on Obi-Wan and upgrade later on to Force Throw or One With The Force. I like Caution when I roll a +DMG and my opponent removes my only die with a black side. Deflect is a magnificent card against ranged decks.

Also, Force Speed is a good way to make sure you get to focus and use the damage sides of Obi-Wan.

OOT, how do you create the links for the cards in the description?

Force speeds would certainly help this deck but I don't play in tournaments or anything, so I sold one and traded the other for the second Obi, a second IG-88, and some other rares I was missing. If you have them, they would definitely be a good addition in place of other upgrades like Rey's Staff.

You can link a card by typing # and selecting from the list that appears. Some SoR cards don't show up in the list so just choose a card that is and copy the format for whatever card you're trying to link. Each card number is a 5 digit number where the first two are the set (Awakenings = 01, SoR = 02, etc) and the last three are the card number.

Pretty sweet deck! I'm going to try it out tomorrow, as I'm in a similar situation collection-wise (only the starters and SoR). I also opened 3 Obi-Wan's so I feel obligated to try him out lol. Will let you know how it goes!
