I took this deck along to a Q2 OP Kit at Common Ground Games, Stirling in Scotland with very little opportunity to play about with it before hand. I normally run an eQui-Gon/eRey deck but thought I'd try something a little different. I spotted "A Trap You Say?" on this site but wasn't too keen on the use of Promotionso replaced it with a couple of Rocket Launcher.

I finished 2nd place in Swiss and progressed through to the Top 4 cut.

Deck worked really well in the first three games, and consistently rolled out considerable amounts of damage. But when it didn't work, it didn't work.

Potential Changes:

Planetary Uprising: I need to find space for this. I'm claiming fast. Being able to dish out 2, or even 4 damage for claiming is just too good an opportunity to miss.

Mitigation: I have 3 mitigation cards in here in Defensive Position, Suppression, and Rebel Assault but didn't really use them often. So need to have a think if I can make more efficient.

Battlefield: I need to settle on a Battlefield. I ran with Moisture Farm - Tatooineas it was the most innocuous card I could think of since I didn't know how the deck was really going to play out. But this could be more efficient. I'm even toying with Maz's Castle - Takodana as the games I struggled in were games I wasn't getting upgrades early and the additional card filtering might be useful.

Definitely enjoyed playing with this, and looking to try and improve it for future tournaments.

Planetary Uprising is definitely worth running. You probably don't need 4 3-cost upgrades; cutting either A180 or Rocket Launcher makes room for Uprisings.

I don't like Suppression in builds like yours that actually want to resolve damage. Rebel Assault, on the other hand, is quite good.

Consider Carbon Freezing Chamber for your battlefield. If you're claiming consistently, it's absolutely monstrous. It reduces your need for mitigation.

@pantsygThanks for the feedback. You are probably right about the 3-cost upgrades. I played Rocket Launcher a couple of times during the day, but never played the A180 Blaster. However, if I was to drop one of them, I'd possibly drop the Rocket Launcher as there would be no worse feeling than having 4 on the launcher with a +3 on Overkill but not being able to pay for it.

I think I played Suppression only once during the day, and that was to mitigate what was likely to be lethal for Leia Organa - Born Leader. I found that the defensive cards that I used most was Dug in, Defensive Position, and Field Medic. I didn't use Rebel Assault at all, but that's because I've just realised I was misinterpreting how it worked. That's what happens when you don't practice with a deck enough before an event.

As for the battlefield, Carbon-freezing Chamber - Bespin is definitely a shout. I played a lot of 3 dice decks, so being able to mitigate one of them early would have been valuable. But I'm also thinking Maz's Castle - Takodana could be useful to get me what I need. Especially if I'm reducing the number of upgrades.

There is also the option to replace Admiral Ackbar - Perceptive Tactician with Mon Mothma - Skilled Politician. It's two less but with more focus sides making All In potentially more useful, and a more useful character ability.

I'll make some changes and try and get some more testing in before my next event.

I've had good success with Mon Mothma over Ackbar. Especially with your 0-cost events, her ability is more consistently useful.
