Force Illusion is really important against decks like Rey/* or Maz/Poe where you can't control the opponents dice directly. Immobilize Is really useful as well, because it has shields and a build in control ability. Same goes for Force Throw and Force Push(controlwise). It may look as if there are too many upgrades, but you just want to have him equipped as fast as possible. Then you can use the rest as reroll cards.
This deck worked fine against Maz/Poe, Aurra/DT, Plutt-Mill and a few other decks. I haven't been able to test it against heavy HP decks like 3x Death Trooper.
