Dice of Failure 822

I know what you're thinking: I REALLY want to make a mono yellow hero mill deck. It's going to be the BEST THING EVER.

All kidding aside, this deck is actually pretty good, and it only got better with Occupied City - Lothal from AtG. Your starting rolls are pretty high, so you'll often get your battlefield, and, while losing cards might hurt a lot, it will hurt your opponent more. Even just one turn of 1-2 extra milled cards is HUGE.

While the standard version of this deck runs 2 Friends in Low Places, that is unfortunately not an option in this trilogy mill (millogy?)

For that reason, it might be best to run a second Bespin Wing Guard in place of either the 2nd Anakin Skywalker's Podracer or the lone Explosive Tactics, although I do like generally like it as an "if all else fails" indirect damage option. Plus, if you play it with Streetwise and Scrap Heap out, it's essentially free.

The trick here is to only use Cassian's dice as indirect damage when you absolutely need to. The base hero combo if you can get indirect with Jedha Partisan is 4 mill per round (amplified by Occupied City, Anakin's Podracer and Clandestine Operation, not to mention Stealthy). If you immediately resolve one of cassian's dice as indirect, you take that down to 3 mill per turn. That makes a big difference. Use Cassian for indirect as Plan B, not plan A.

Scruffy Looking Nerf-Herder and Vandalize are there to snipe those pesky upgrades or supports that you really don't want, although against Vader, you might want to call event with Scruffy to snipe the Fear and Dead Men.

Besides that, you have 8 removal, which is a good ratio for mill, six of which are double-dice removal. If you're playing against Darth Vader - Terror To Behold, you can Flank one die so he'll have to power action and then use Entangle, Easy Pickings or Into The Garbage Chute to remove both. Also, his discarding cards for you is a good thing.

Give it a whirl if you have the cards. I guarantee your friends will hate you in three games or less.
