Some notes on the deck, Anakin Skywalker - Conflicted Apprentice and Kanan Jarrus - Rebel Jedi are interchangeable here. Then you can change the deck depending on your preferences.
You can get It Binds All Things from Ros, or use Destiny instead. Basically it's a "ramp" card. Meaning it allows you to save/generate resources/play upgrades which develops your board state.
Most of your mitigation will come through shields, but you do have good removal options in Guard, Overconfidence, Flank.
Other options are: Pacify, Loth-Wolf Bond, Defensive Stance, Mislead, Disciplined Mind (side note, Qui-Gon Jinn - Ataru Master has the sub type Jedi).
You can add in Synchronicity and Riposte for extra damage.
Close Quarters Assault is a brutal card, and you can decimate your opponents hand with a semi decent roll out from both characters.
