This is actually the second version of this deck. In the first, I had a second Enfys Nest's Marauder instead of Aayla Secura - Jedi General. That version went 4-2 in two store tournies that were only 3 rounds each, with both losses coming against our local Regional champion, so I was reasonably happy with it.

But the deck eats through resources, and I wasn't special chaining Entourage nearly as much as I originally planned, so I figured I could live with one less scoundrel in exchange for a different character die with no pay sides and 1 higher health. And Aayla's special goes well with the special chaining, not to mention occasionally screwing with my opponent's dice. But I did have to pull out the second Vader's Fist.

So plan A with this deck is to put out an Entourage first round, use it to pull the second from the deck, and have both plus a Hired Muscle on the table by round 2. Plan B is Vader's Fist. So if my starting hand doesn't have either the Fist or Entourage, I hard mulligan to get them. Of course, Respite draws a card, so that's the one thing I never mulligan.

Plan C is if I still don't have a Fist or Entourage, and then I just get any damage die on the table I can, which is why the gun and saber are in there. I figured any weapon with redeploy and a damaging special would go well with all the special chaining in this deck, which is why I chose those. Fickle Mercenaries are always my last choice, because I'm always nervous about them being bought out by my opponent. Ironically, the only time I played Fickle in a game, I had already bought out my opponent's Fickle, so I controlled both of them at once.

R2-D2 helps with special chaining even after Yoda's killed. You wouldn't think he'd be essential, but he saved the game in a close one.
